Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son attends the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat in Malaysia

At the invitation of Malaysian Foreign Minister Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son will attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat (AMMR) taking place from January 18-19 in Langkawi, Malaysia.

This AMMR is an important event to promote cooperation within ASEAN and prepare for the ASEAN Summit in 2025. The Foreign Ministers will discuss outstanding regional and international issues, reaffirming ASEAN's central role in maintaining peace , stability and sustainable development in the region.

Within the framework of the conference, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son is expected to have bilateral meetings with diplomatic leaders of ASEAN countries. The exchanges aim to strengthen partnerships, promote cooperation in many fields and discuss strategic issues in the region.

This conference is an important step, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's role in ASEAN, as well as actively contributing to the common goals of the region.
