At the conference, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan reported on the delegation's activities from July 1 to present and the delegation's direction of activities until March 2026.
Accordingly, immediately after the National Assembly Standing Committee issued a Resolution on the organization of the 15th Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, the delegation's leaders promptly completed the apparatus, developed operating regulations, a monitoring and survey plan, and a plan to organize important political events.
The delegation of National Assembly deputies of Ho Chi Minh City has conducted a survey of the activities of the new commune-level political system in Phu My ward (District 7) and Dong Hung Thuan ward (District 12).
The survey aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the local government organization model according to Resolution 131 and identify points that need to be adjusted in the practical operation process.
Along with that, the preparation work for the Party Congress at the commune level in accordance with the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee is also a matter of special concern.
In parallel with the survey activities, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation also carried out many important thematic monitoring activities such as: the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection according to the Law on Environmental Protection 2020; deploying digital government and reforming administrative procedures in a comprehensive, online manner, regardless of administrative boundaries.
Next, Deputy Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Huynh Thi Phuc presented the delegation's program of supervision, survey, and people's petition work in the coming time.
In particular, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation will strengthen supervision activities, focus on monitoring, urging, and working with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and related agencies, units, and localities on resolving recommendations after supervision and surveys of the National Assembly , the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly agencies, and the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.
Along with that, continue to carry out monitoring and survey topics based on the contents that voters and people are interested in and concerned about, the contents that need to be resolved in terms of mechanisms, policies and laws to contribute to the socio-economic development of the country and of Ho Chi Minh City.
Regarding the National Assembly's supreme supervision activities, the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation continues to carry out the contents as requested by the National Assembly's supervision delegation on the topic "Implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection since the Law on Environmental Protection 2020 took effect" in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, participate in the supervision delegation of the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Council, and the National Assembly Committees working in the locality; participate in local inspection and supervision delegations under the direction of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and in coordination with the sectors.
Regarding the monitoring and survey activities of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, organizing a survey of the activities of the new commune-level political system, and the preparation work for the Party Congress at the commune level under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
Organize a thematic survey on "Implementation and organization of implementation of central policies and regulations on building digital government, reforming administrative procedures in a comprehensive, online, and non-administrative manner in Ho Chi Minh City".
Coordinate with the Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to regularly conduct surveys, reviews, and work with agencies and units to conduct research and provide comments on amendments and supplements to continue perfecting Resolution No. 98 of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City and other contents, contributing to removing difficulties and obstacles.
The 15th National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City after merging and consolidating 3 National Assembly Delegations: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau has 44 delegates. In the near future, the voter contact activities of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation will take place at about 80 locations, spread across 168 wards, communes and special zones of Ho Chi Minh City.
