Heart for the Country

After the memoir Family, Friends and Country became a hit in April this year, during the days when the whole country was looking forward to celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, readers had the opportunity to meet former Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh again through the publication Heart with the Country (Sbooks and the National Political Publishing House Truth).

Comrade Nguyen Thi Binh affirmed: "In the history of world diplomacy, the Paris negotiations on Vietnam... were the longest negotiations to end a war in the 20th century". With more than 200 public meetings and hundreds of interviews, these numbers not only show the fierceness of the diplomatic front but also vivid evidence of the perseverance, courage and intelligence of Vietnam's revolutionary diplomacy.

In addition, the book also records the mark of comrade Nguyen Thi Binh in the field of education, when she held the position of Minister of Education from 1976 to 1987.
