Deeply aware of the key role of women in building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families, provincial women's unions at all levels have implemented a variety of activities to continuously improve awareness and skills, contributing to affirming and honoring the position and role of women.

To promote the role of women in building happy families, in recent years, provincial women's unions at all levels have always paid attention to effectively implementing propaganda, mobilization and support work to help women develop comprehensively and build happy families.

Notably, the association at all levels carries out family work in conjunction with emulation movements, campaigns, programs, and key projects of the association with many diverse, creative, and grassroots-oriented forms. At the same time, proactively and actively coordinate with functional sectors to propagate to raise awareness of women's association members and family members and the community about the importance of building happy families through communication activities, conferences, forums, and knowledge training courses; build models with specific and clear addresses, effectively maintain the model of building prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized families.

In 2024 alone, the Provincial Women's Union established and launched 16 models of "Children's Care andEducation " in communes implementing the Nutrition Project; the model of "Parents' Groups for Comprehensive Care and Education for Children" in Dong Ngu Commune (Tien Yen District) and Quang Tan Commune (Dam Ha District), bringing the total number of "Parents' Groups for Comprehensive Care and Education for Children" in the province to 5. After launching, the Provincial Women's Union organized training courses for model members on knowledge of health care, improving nutrition and improving the physical condition of children under 5 years old...

The Women's Union of localities has newly established 20 women's models/clubs to promote the cultural identity of Quang Ninh (Then singing; Soong co singing; embroidery and sewing of Dao ethnic costumes; intergenerational ethnic women preserving and promoting traditional costumes...); 21 "Pre-marriage" models in 21 communes and wards of Dong Trieu city.

The association at all levels continues to maintain the activities of the following models/clubs: Women raising and educating children well; Women building happy families; Building families with 5 no's and 3 clean's; Friendly... Through the activities of the models/clubs, they have directly disseminated to women knowledge and skills related to: Reproductive health; family planning; food hygiene and safety; raising children well, preserving and protecting family happiness; preventing domestic violence, abuse of women and children; ensuring a safe environment for women and children; for the comprehensive development of children. Thereby contributing significantly to the implementation of family work and preventing and combating domestic violence, promoting gender equality in the family sector.

To support women in economic development and enhance their status in the family, women's unions at all levels organize many training courses, instructing on sales development skills on e-commerce channels; sales and customer care; livestock and poultry farming techniques; livestock product consumption; start-ups; capacity building for grassroots union officials, economic model owners and core women members; support for the establishment of new cooperatives and cooperative groups...

The local Women's Unions carry out many activities to support women in economic development, mainly by entrusting loans, creating conditions for women members who need to borrow capital to solve employment problems. Currently, the total outstanding loan balance entrusted to the Union is 2,283.9 billion VND/34,958 borrowing households, the overdue debt rate is 0.13%, no overdue debt has occurred compared to the beginning of the year. Social security activities, support and assistance for women's union members in difficult circumstances, disadvantaged women are given attention and are regularly carried out through activities such as supporting the construction of "Shelters of Love", giving gifts to poor women and children on holidays and Tet.

With many practical activities, the provincial women's associations at all levels have created positive changes in women's awareness and actions, contributing significantly to building prosperous, progressive, happy and civilized families. The models and activities not only equip women with knowledge and skills, but also arouse the spirit of independence, creativity and aspiration to rise up in each woman. Since then, many households have become exemplary families, shining examples of harmony, love and working together to build a better life.

Success stories from supported families have demonstrated the effectiveness of the programs implemented by the Women's Union at all levels in the province. These are mothers and wives who have become more confident in educating their children, managing finances, or starting successful businesses, bringing stable income to their families. These are also the "Family of 5 No, 3 Clean" clubs that operate effectively, helping to improve the quality of life and create a healthy living environment for children.

In the current context of our country's strong integration, facing many development opportunities, the solidarity and sustainability of each family is the foundation for building a strong, humane and prosperous nation. This requires each member, especially women, to be an "active nucleus", not only "keeping the fire" but also "lighting the fire", bringing good values ​​to the family and society.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thuy, Permanent Vice President of the Quang Ninh Provincial Women's Union, said: In order to continue to maintain and promote the achievements, in the coming time, all levels of the provincial Women's Union will continue to innovate and improve the quality of activities, focusing on diversifying communication forms, applying information technology to spread more widely knowledge about family, gender equality, and prevention of domestic violence. Along with that, continue to organize training programs, foster capacity building for women, support start-ups, apply AI to improve women's capacity in various fields; advise on the implementation of projects assigned by the Union to contribute to promoting gender equality, especially in ethnic minority areas... At the same time, focus on building and replicating effective models; Strengthen cooperation with departments, branches, sectors, unions, Party committees, and local authorities at the grassroots level to create combined strength in family work and protect the rights of women and children, and promote gender equality.

With clear orientations and the cooperation of the whole society, we believe that Quang Ninh women will continue to be an important nucleus in building prosperous, happy, progressive, civilized families, contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
