Onana's mistake, Man Utd lost victory against Galatasaray
Man Utd created a match full of emotions for fans, from excitement and hope to disappointment. The "Red Devils" led the home team Galatasaray by 2 goals twice, but the away team only got a 3-3 draw when the referee ended the match.
Ten Hag's team started quickly at Rams Park, with coherent attacks, Man Utd quickly opened the score. In the 11th minute, Fernandes passed the ball from the center of the penalty area to the left for Garnacho, the Argentine player comfortably dribbled the ball and finished into the home team's net.

The early goal gave Man Utd players confidence. In the 18th minute, Fernandes unexpectedly fired a shot from outside the penalty area, the ball curved high into the home team's goal, leaving goalkeeper Muslera unable to block it.
Having conceded two goals in less than half of the first half, Galatasaray tried to attack but failed to make a special mark. The surprise happened in the 29th minute, Ziyech's free kick went through the wall and into the net, reducing the score to 1-2 for the home team.
The main fault for Man Utd's goal was goalkeeper Onana. It was confusing when the away team's goalkeeper proactively predicted Ziyech's move, but when the opponent shot in another direction, he was completely disoriented. Ziyech's shot was not too difficult, the ball went into the middle of the goal, very close to Onana's position.
The goal greatly boosted the home team's morale. In the remaining minutes of the first half, Galatasaray did not have continuous attacks but it was enough to make the away team's fans jump. In the 43rd minute, Icardi shot into Onana's net but the referee did not recognize the goal due to offside.

Entering the second half, the two teams continued to fight in the rain at Rams Park. In the 55th minute, Wan-Bissaka rushed forward strongly on the right wing, he crossed just enough for McTominay to tap the ball into the net, increasing the gap to 3-1.
Having just increased the gap to two goals, Man Utd conceded a goal and it was Onana's fault again. In the 62nd minute, Ziyech took a free kick, the home team's winger crossed into the penalty area, the ball did not touch anyone and went straight towards the goal, Onana blocked the ball and it flew into the net. A very regrettable goal conceded by the Cameroonian goalkeeper.
The gap was only one goal, which helped the home team's spirit to be more excited, Galatasaray players rushed to attack and got the equalizer 3-3 in the 71st minute. Ziyech passed the ball to Akturkoglu, the new player of the home team, who fired a decisive shot high into the net at a fast speed that Onana could not block.

After being equalized, Man Utd tried to attack but the away team's players did not know how to take advantage of the opportunities to score a fourth goal, while Galatasaray was somewhat satisfied with the draw so the match ended at 3-3.
With one more point, Man Utd continues to be at the bottom of Group A with 4 points, Galatasaray is in 2nd place with 5 points. In the final match, Man Utd will host Bayern Munich at home while Galatasaray will be away at FC Copenhagen. Man Utd is at risk of being eliminated from the European Cup after the group stage, the right to decide is not in the hands of Ten Hag and his team.
