Speaking at the event, President Andrzej Duda said that the exhibition is "a very important event and of great significance for Poland from an economic perspective", and is also a key event for the European region and the world.

The Director of the Polish State Security Service (BBN) Jacek Siewiera considers the publication of the list a strategic action to ensure national security.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said that the publication of this catalog is aimed at boosting defense export sales, as well as showing support for Polish defense manufacturers.

Warsaw will sign new military trade agreements with foreign partners in the coming time, with a total value of up to nearly 2 billion zloty (about 520 million USD). The agreements include surveillance systems around airports, military logistics and communications.

Last month, Poland signed a $10 billion deal to buy 96 Apache helicopters from Boeing, and Washington recently announced a $2 billion foreign military financing direct loan agreement with Warsaw.

Poland currently spends 4% of its GDP on defense, the highest among NATO members. It plans to increase military spending to 4.7% by 2025.
