Big explosion at glue factory in Binh Chanh

(NLDO) - Initial reports indicate that one person died and one person was injured in a large explosion at a glue factory in Binh Chanh district (HCMC).


On January 11, Binh Chanh District Police (HCMC) are investigating the cause of the explosion in the area.

Police were dispatched to the scene.

At about 10 o'clock the same day, people living on An Ha street, Pham Van Hai commune suddenly heard a loud explosion.

They ran to see fire and smoke coming from a glue factory, so they called the authorities.

Binh Chanh District Fire Police then mobilized officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Initial reports indicate that one person died and one person was injured in the explosion. The deceased victim was a male with multiple injuries on his body.

Authorities determined this was a work accident during production activities.
