The mobile propaganda contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the traditional day of Truong Son soldiers (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2024) attracted the participation of 23 mobile propaganda teams from provinces and cities across the country, with many forms of performance, including: Singing, dancing, music.
The contest aims to widely propagate the nation's historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions; patriotism, heroism, self-reliance and the spirit of great national unity; contributing to consolidating and fostering people's confidence in the cause of national renewal and international integration under the leadership of the Party.
Through the contest, the Organizing Committee also wishes to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions and contributions of Truong Son soldiers, frontline workers, youth volunteers, transport workers, artists, and people of all ethnic groups who participated in, served in combat, and performed duties on Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Road during the resistance war against the US to save the country; to preserve and promote the glorious traditions of Truong Son soldiers in building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite, and gradually modern Vietnam People's Army, and to build an increasingly developed, prosperous, and happy country.
During the week of the Competition (from April 20 to 26), the Nghe An Province Mass Art Troupe and 22 other mass art troupes from other provinces performed in 31 districts and cities in 12 provinces: Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong .
The program of the Nghe An Province Mass Art Troupe's participation in the competition includes 6 performances, including: Singing and dancing "Ho Chi Minh Trail, the road of youth"; Male solo and dance group accompanying the song "Red leaves"; "Green forest echoes with the sound of ta lu" (female group and dance group); "Marching together in the middle of Spring" and "On the road to victory" (bamboo flute solo); "Hello, Lam Hong girl" (male group and dance group); Singing and dancing "The vast new road".
At the end of the competition, Nghe An delegation had 1 performance winning the Gold prize (“Hello, Lam Hong girl”), 2 performances winning the Silver prize (“Ho Chi Minh Road, the road of youth” and “Red leaves”).
In addition, the units: Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports, Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism for their achievements in hosting the Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the traditional day of Truong Son Troops (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2024); Cao Dai Duong - Member of the Nghe An Provincial Mass Art Troupe was awarded a certificate of merit as a Promising Propagandist by the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism) at the Contest./.
