Dani Ceballos' future at Real Madrid is a big question mark in the summer transfer window of 2025. |
According to Marca , the Real Madrid captain has informed Dani Ceballos that the 28-year-old midfielder has no future at the Bernabeu. Initially, Ceballos was expected to be the future of the "Los Blancos" midfield under Alonso. However, in 4 matches at the 2025 Club World Cup, he only played 37 minutes, mainly from the bench.
Although Real Madrid at times needed another ball-controlling midfielder to complement the trio of Fede Valverde, Aurélien Tchouaméni, and Eduardo Camavinga, Ceballos was still not used by Alonso.
Ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Ceballos was among a group of players competing for a place under Alonso, along with Arda Guler and Brahim Díaz. However, Guler's impressive form and Valverde's consistency have overshadowed Ceballos.
