TPO - During recess, a 7th grade male student was repeatedly beaten in the stomach and head by his classmates because of "jealousy".

On March 14, a clip went viral on social media recording a scene of an 8th grade male student grabbing the collar and repeatedly hitting a 7th grade student on the head right at school, during recess.

Through investigation, the incident occurred right in the hallway of Nghia Trung Secondary School (Tu Nghia district, Quang Ngai province).

Discussing the above incident, Mr. Truong Thuan Hung - Principal of Nghia Trung Secondary School (Tu Nghia district) said that the initial cause was determined to be due to a "love" conflict among students.

“Regarding the clip of students fighting in school, filmed and posted on social media, causing a stir in public opinion, the school has organized an invitation to parents, homeroom teachers and related students to resolve the incident,” said Mr. Hung.

According to the report of Nghia Trung Secondary School, the incident happened at around 9:30 (March 14) during recess, student NTP (class 8C) beat student VVN (class 7D). The reason was because student N. went out with her friend P., a female student of PGH (class 7D).

While P. was beating N., another student used his phone to record a clip. The clip was later spread on social media, causing public outrage.

Currently, N. does not have any serious health problems. However, the school has asked the family to take the student to a medical facility for examination.
