On behalf of the leaders of Hai Phong City, the Secretary of the City Party Committee respectfully thanked representatives of foreign diplomatic agencies in Vietnam for their interest, connection and promotion of friendly relations between Vietnam and other countries in general and between Hai Phong and other countries in particular.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee hopes that the Ambassadors will continue to be a bridge to introduce Hai Phong's favorable investment and business environment to businesses, investors and economic organizations of other countries. The Secretary of the City Party Committee stated that the city is particularly interested in attracting investment from large corporations in areas such as high-tech industry, renewable energy, logistics, trade, seaport services and tourism... With the advantage of being the logistics center of the northern region of Vietnam, with a strategic location and a modern seaport system, Hai Phong hopes that foreign diplomatic missions will support the enhancement of cooperation in the field of logistics - which is one of the important pillars in economic relations between countries. Hai Phong is ready to support and create favorable conditions in terms of investment procedures, land, infrastructure and human resources for foreign investors.
Regarding the expansion of local exchanges and cooperation, Hai Phong city wishes to strengthen the establishment and expansion of friendly cooperation with localities of other countries, through high-level delegation exchange programs, exchanging experiences in urban management, and developing various fields. The city is ready to coordinate in organizing business connection events, exhibitions to promote trade and culture between the parties; promote joint training programs, student exchanges, grant scholarships, organize short-term training courses for city officials, etc.
The Secretary of the City Party Committee hopes to continue receiving the attention, support and companionship from the Ambassadors in promoting the relationship between the city and its partners in the host country. Through the Ambassadors and Deputy Ambassadors, Hai Phong will have the opportunity to promote its image, seek strategic partners and expand comprehensive, practical and effective cooperation channels.
Thanking the city leaders for their warm welcome, the Ambassadors and Deputy Ambassadors expressed their impressions of Hai Phong's development; and expressed their belief that after the merger, the city will have the motivation to develop faster and stronger. The Ambassadors and Deputy Ambassadors all wish to seek opportunities and expand investment cooperation with Hai Phong, contributing to the city's development.
