Mbappe withdraws lawsuit against PSG, but continues to fight for 55 million euros in unpaid wages.

Mbappe's lawyer has confirmed that he has withdrawn his lawsuit against PSG over mental harassment and attempted blackmail. The lawsuit, filed in May, concerns PSG's treatment of the French star during a tense period in his contract in 2023, including being left out of the squad and forced to train alone.

However, the Real Madrid star continues to pursue a lawsuit to recover 55 million euros in unpaid wages from PSG in the final month of his contract. According to L'Equipe, this financial dispute between Mbappe and the Parisian capital club's leadership is taking place in a tense manner.

Previously, Mbappe accused PSG of forcing him to sign a new contract in 2023 amid tensions between the two sides when he refused to renew. Instead of training with the first team, the player born in 1998 was transferred to a "dormitory", where players who were eliminated from the team's plans were gathered.

According to Mbappe, PSG's move was coercive and threatening. Mbappe accuses PSG of pressing him to sign an unwanted contract, while refusing to pay 55 million euros including loyalty bonuses and unpaid wages for the 2022/23 season.

The France captain will now turn his attention to the Club World Cup 2025™ semi-final against PSG on July 10. This will be his first match against PSG since joining Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.
