Gia Lai province has an important geo -economic position in regional and international exchanges. In particular, Gia Lai owns 134 km of coastline, 36,000 km2 of territorial waters and Quy Nhon international seaport that can safely receive cargo ships of up to 70,000 tons, with the potential to become a service development center for transportation, transshipment, transit of goods, seaports, and logistics of the whole country. At the same time, it is the nearest and most convenient gateway to the sea for the Central Highlands, Southern Laos, Northeastern Cambodia and Thailand.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Dinh Thien - former Director of the Vietnam Economic Institute, member of the Prime Minister's Policy Advisory Council, Gia Lai province not only has many mineral resources and potential for clean energy development but is also the center of a large area of wood, coffee, pepper, and fruit trees in the country, opening up investment opportunities to develop a chain linking agriculture with deep processing industry, to be able to participate in the global supply chain, increasing export value.

Notably, the Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park Project (phase 1) with a scale of 1,374 hectares, total investment capital of about 300 million USD, not far from Quy Nhon port, Phu Cat airport, Dieu Tri station, with a systematic and modern planning in the direction of green economy, circular economy has become an attractive destination for investors.

Currently, this group is promoting the implementation of the Polyester fabric recycling complex project in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone with a total investment of up to 1 billion USD, equivalent to about 24,970 billion VND. This is one of the largest-scale projects ever in the field of textile waste recycling in Vietnam, expected to contribute positively to the goal of sustainable development and green transformation in the textile industry in Vietnam.
“We seized this opportunity and made it concrete by deciding to invest in a large-scale project using the most advanced technology available for textile recycling. The project will certainly not only bring economic benefits but also provide a good living environment in the area,” said Susanna Campbell, President of Syre Group.
