Vietnam U17 is in Group I of the 2025 AFC U17 qualifiers, taking place at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ) from October 23. The home team will play against Kyrgyzstan U17, Myanmar U17 and Yemen U17.

Vietnam U17 plays at home in the 2025 AFC U17 qualifiers.
According to the 2025 AFC U17 Championship qualifying format, the teams are divided into 10 groups, including 7 groups of 4 teams and 3 groups of 5 teams. Lebanon U17 withdrew, leaving Group H with only 3 teams. Only the group winners and 5 best runners-up will qualify for the final round in Saudi Arabia next year.
In each group, the ranking is calculated based on points, head-to-head record, goal difference, and goals scored. If two teams competing for a place in the final round are equal on points or on goal difference after meeting in the final match, a penalty shootout will be used to determine the ranking.
In the ranking of second-placed teams, representatives of groups with more than 3 teams do not have their results against the 4th and 5th placed teams of the corresponding group counted.
