Lee Kang-in confirms future

According to Le Parisien , coach Luis Enrique has finalized the current squad and it is likely that no one will leave on the last day of the summer transfer window. Marco Asensio is a special case as he could join Fenerbahce or Aston Villa by the end of August 31 (local time).

PSG's board, especially Sporting Director Luis Campos and Coach Luis Enrique, have no intention of letting Lee Kang-in leave this summer. Their confidence in Lee has grown even more after his brilliant performance at the 2025 UEFA Super Cup, where he scored a stunning goal against Tottenham.

Lee's contract with PSG runs until June 2028. The French champions once offered 50 million euros to any club that wanted the Korean international. This figure was considered too high and caused many teams to give up.

Sources also revealed to Le Parisien that Lee's representatives held discussions with several Premier League clubs, but negotiations did not progress.

In Ligue 1 this season, Lee played in two matches against Nantes and Angers, including one start. The South Korean international is expected to have an explosive season in preparation for the 2026 World Cup finals.

PSG suffered a crushing defeat to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final. Early morning on July 14, PSG lost to Chelsea 0-3 in the match to decide the Club World Cup title.
