My Dinh is ablaze with pride in the National Concert '80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness'

(VTC News) - On the evening of September 1, My Dinh Stadium was lit up with the art program 80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness, leaving deep emotions in the hearts of thousands of spectators.

On the evening of September 1, at My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ), a special national art program "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" took place.

"80 Years - Journey of Independence, Freedom, Happiness" organized by the Ministry of Culture - Sports - Tourism is not only an art night, but also a deep gratitude to the generations of fallen fathers and brothers, an epic affirming the mettle, will and eternal aspiration of the Vietnamese people.

Attending the program were General Secretary To Lam; former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh; President Luong Cuong; former President Nguyen Minh Triet; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Also attending were Politburo members: Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Secretariat; Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense .

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech.

With the participation of nearly 3,000 artists, actors and the public, the event became an epic through art, fully depicting the 80-year journey of building and developing the country.

The program is elaborately staged, consisting of three chapters with tight content, recreating the journey from the struggle for independence to the process of innovation and integration.

The opening chapter “The Road to Independence – Reunification” takes the audience back in history. The majestic sound of the symphony My Fatherland blends with the grand dance scene recreating the autumn day of 1945, the years of resistance and the moment of North-South reunion. The audience was moved to tears many times when the songs Long Night of Slaves, Declaration of Independence, and Country Full of Joy resounded with emotion.

Chapter two, “Aspiration for the Fatherland”, shifts to a youthful, modern tone. The performances “Em di giu bien vang”, “Aspiration for youth”, and “Welcome to Vietnam” enliven the stage with giant LED screens and brilliant lighting effects, expressing the aspiration to reach the world of a dynamic Vietnam.

The climax was pushed to the third chapter "My Fatherland, has never been so beautiful". The Marching Song chorus resounded in unison with the children, orchestra and the masses, the audience seemed to explode with pride.

The highlight of the show also comes from the gathering of many famous artists: Thanh Lam, My Tam, Tung Duong, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, along with young singers such as Den Vau, Soobin Hoang Son, Mono...

3D mapping technology, multi-layered surround sound, and artistic fireworks have elevated the experience, turning My Dinh into a spectacular "open stage".
