
According to VNA reporters at Trang Tien, Hai Ba Trung, Quang Trung, Ly Thuong Kiet areas... at around 10:30 a.m. on September 2, although the amount of waste after the event was quite large, including many plastic bottles and nylon bags, thanks to the concerted efforts of environmental forces, it was soon ensured.
Ms. Le Phuong Nga (30 years old, Ha Dong ward) shared: “Right after the ceremony ended, I noticed that everyone was very proactive in maintaining public hygiene and throwing trash in the right place. Children were also guided to participate, helping them form the habit of protecting the environment early. I was really impressed with the quick and timely cleaning work of the capital and was proud to see the spirit of community responsibility clearly demonstrated, contributing to making the capital cleaner and more civilized."

On further streets such as Kim Ma, Lieu Giai..., after the end of the A80 Parade, hundreds of environmental sanitation workers and volunteers also quickly showed up to collect garbage.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung, environmental group No. 2, Hanoi Urban Environment One Member Limited Liability Company said: "After this parade, I see that people's awareness has improved and everyone is aware of protecting the environment, throwing garbage in the right place...".
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son (44 years old, Dong Da ward) shared: “I am really impressed with the dedicated working spirit of the environmental workers and volunteers. Despite the hardship, everyone is still happy. Their dedication and professionalism not only ensure clean and tidy streets but also create a civilized and modern capital and leave a deep impression on people after the festival.”
Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Tran Van Quang (22 years old, student of Phenikaa University) shared: “My fellow volunteers and I quickly set out to clean up the streets. Although we were tired under the sun, everyone worked with a high sense of responsibility and felt proud to contribute to keeping the capital clean after the Great Festival. Although the work was small, each action had great meaning, helping me understand more about the spirit of serving the community and awareness of protecting the environment.”

By 11:30, after the parade ended, the streets in the center of Hanoi quickly became neat and clear. The coordinated efforts of workers, volunteers and functional units in collecting garbage and operating mobile toilets, combined with the people's awareness of maintaining hygiene, created a civilized and clean space. These images demonstrate the responsibility of the community, contributing to building a modern capital, while honoring the success and significance of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
It is known that to ensure environmental sanitation, previously, on September 1, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee issued a telegram to strengthen security and order, environmental sanitation and support people and tourists to participate in and follow the activities of the Anniversary Ceremony, parade and march.
Along with that, Hanoi has prepared more than 8,000 small trash cans and 500 large trash cans placed at public places, making waste collection convenient and effective; on average every 50 meters there is an environmental sanitation officer directly instructing people to dispose of waste in the right place. In particular, 8,800 young volunteers of the Hanoi Youth Union have been mobilized to participate, both supporting people in waste treatment and conveying the message of preserving a green - clean - beautiful environment, contributing to creating a safe, civilized and meaningful festival.
