On the morning of September 2, Jannik Sinner (Italy) easily won 3-0 (6-1, 6-1, 6-1) against Alexander Bublik (Kazakhstan) to enter the quarterfinals of the US Open 2025.
Sinner showed his complete superiority from the very first minutes. He broke Bublik's serve in the first game of set 1 and quickly took a 4-0 lead in less than 15 minutes. The Italian ended the set with a score of 6-1 in just 23 minutes.
The same scenario repeated itself in the next two sets. Sinner continued to dominate the early stages of each set, completely controlling the game.
The world number 1 tennis player showed a destructive form, especially in his serving ability when at one point he won up to 93% of points from his first serve.

Meanwhile, Alexander Bublik seemed to be out of sorts. The Kazakh player appeared to lack confidence and was unable to find a solution to Sinner's play.
It wasn't until he was down 0-4 in the first set that he finally won his first game. Bublik's late effort in the third set, saving a break point and winning a consolation game, wasn't enough to change the situation.
In the end, Jannik Sinner won overwhelmingly after 1 hour and 10 minutes of competition, affirming the strength of the world's No. 1 tennis player and the leading candidate for the 2025 US Open championship.
