Meaningful activities of Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of September 2

(NLDO) - The running race of Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City received 81.5 million VND from organizations and individuals to help children in difficult circumstances.

On the morning of September 2, the People's Committee of Thuan An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City organized the 2025 Cross Country Race with the theme "Run to be healthy - Run into the era of self-development".

Officials, party members and people from all walks of life in Thuan An ward participate in the race.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of Thuan An Ward People's Committee, said that this is a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate National Day September 2 and Party Congresses at all levels, and at the same time an opportunity to arouse the spirit of sports training following the example of great Uncle Ho, building a healthy lifestyle in the community.

Through the event, the Ward People's Committee launched a movement for the entire population to actively exercise, form a habit of exercising every day, and strive to "be healthy to study, work, produce and contribute to the homeland and country".

In particular, on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025 - 2026, the Organizing Committee called on organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to support poor but studious students. The Organizing Committee received 81.5 million VND from organizations and individuals at the opening ceremony.

On this occasion, the Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan An ward also approved the decision to establish the Mobilization Committee for the Fund for the Poor and the Relief Fund of Thuan An ward.
