On this occasion, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center has exempted entrance tickets for Vietnamese citizens today.
Accordingly, the opening hours are free from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on September 2. Visitors only need to bring their ID cards to visit the relic sites of the Hue Monuments Complex such as the Imperial City, Tu Duc Tomb, Khai Dinh Tomb, Minh Mang Tomb, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, An Dinh Palace, etc.

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism , the total number of tourists to the city during the National Day holiday on September 2 is estimated at 196,000, an increase of 50.8% over the same period on September 2, 2024; revenue from tourism services is estimated at 310 billion VND, an increase of 134.8% over the same period.
The number of guests staying is estimated at 92,000 (up 41.5%), including about 23,000 international visitors. The average room occupancy rate of hotels is about 72%, on August 31, September 1 and 2, the room occupancy rate of many accommodation establishments reached more than 85%; most of the hotels in the center of Hue city, coastal resorts, lagoons and waterfalls, and homestays in Hue city are almost full of guests booked for these 3 days.
