Ensuring safety for visitors
In the complicated rainy season weather conditions, Lam Dong provincial authorities at all levels have demonstrated a high sense of responsibility by proactively implementing measures to ensure absolute safety for tourists and residents.
Tourist areas and spots with rivers, streams, and waterfalls such as Dam'bri waterfall, Tuyen Lam lake, etc. have strengthened warning signs in dangerous areas, inspected technical means of transport (off-road vehicles, boats, canoes, etc.) and ensured adequate rescue equipment. At the same time, staff at accommodation facilities and tourist areas are trained in first aid skills and emergency response in all situations.
Security, traffic safety, fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue work are tightened. Tourism service businesses are reminded to strictly comply with legal regulations, not to let price gouging, soliciting customers, committing commercial fraud, or causing trouble for tourists occur.
Mr. Tuong Huu Loc - Vice President of Da Lat - Lam Dong Tourism Association said: "We call on tourism businesses to promote a sense of responsibility, comply with regulations, preserve the environment, and protect the image of local tourism. Because developing sustainable tourism is contributing to protecting the long-term interests of the people and the country."
“Month of Experience” - connecting tourism and culture
In addition to ensuring safety, Lam Dong is actively organizing the “Tourist Destination Experience Month 2025”. This is a strategic program to promote the local image, honor traditional cultural values and promote sustainable tourism development.
Within the framework of the program, many unique cultural - artistic - sports activities are organized at key tourist destinations such as Da Lat, Mui Ne... combined with incentive programs: discounted entrance tickets, gifts, organizing package tours, stimulating domestic consumption.
Young entrepreneurs also expressed their expectations for the “Experiential Month” program. Mr. Le Tang Trong Nghia - Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association said: “Experiential Month is an opportunity for Lam Dong tourism to develop more comprehensively, overcome limitations in connectivity, create new tourism products such as: experiencing Central Highlands gongs, visiting craft villages, helping to retain and attract returning tourists”.
At the same time, tourism, accommodation and travel businesses in the area are also encouraged to actively participate, improve the landscape, improve service quality, and build a hospitable and friendly image.
Ms. Le Thi Thanh Huong - representative of an accommodation facility in Da Lat shared: "We not only prepare many attractive promotional programs but also renovate the green, clean and beautiful landscape. This is an opportunity to contribute to spreading the message of patriotism, looking back to the roots through in-depth cultural activities".
From a management perspective, the provincial culture, sports and tourism sector has proactively provided clear directions to ensure consistency between tourism development and the goals of preserving culture and protecting the environment.
“The month of experience not only attracts tourists but also spreads cultural values, arouses patriotism and national solidarity, in line with the spirit of celebrating major holidays. We encourage travel and accommodation units to coordinate closely to bring unique tourism products. At the same time, ensure environmental sanitation and security and order, contributing to building a green and sustainable economy,” said Ms. Nguyen Lan Ngoc - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The authorities maintain a 24/7 duty regime, effectively operate the hotline 0252.3810.801, ensure timely reception and handling of feedback, and provide quick support to tourists.
