Da Nang tourism revenue reaches over 2.2 trillion VND on National Day holiday September 2

On September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang said that during the September 2 holiday, total tourism revenue reached more than 2.2 trillion VND, an increase of 28% over the same period in 2024.

Accordingly, the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the holiday from August 30 to September 2 reached more than 620,000, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 168,000, an increase of 49%; domestic visitors are estimated at more than 452,000, an increase of 17%. Total tourism revenue reached more than 2.2 trillion VND, an increase of 28% over the same period in 2024.

The average room occupancy rate in the whole city is about 55-60%, of which the occupancy rate of 4-5 star hotels and equivalent is 65-70%; many 4-5 star hotels in An Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son ward, Hoi An Dong ward, Hoi An have an occupancy rate of over 80%.

Total flights to Da Nang airport: 687, average frequency: 137 flights/day (up 18.4% compared to the same period in 2024). Of which, 395 domestic flights (up 22.7% compared to the same period in 2024), average domestic frequency: 79 flights/day; 292 international flights (up 14.7% compared to the same period in 2024), average international frequency: 58-59 flights/day.

It is expected that on September 3, the city will welcome the Star Voyager cruise ship with 1,500 tourists to visit Da Nang city.

Some tourist attractions that welcomed a large number of visitors during the 4-day holiday this year include Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area, Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park, Mikazuki, 365 VinWonders Nam Hoi An Water Park, Hoi An Ancient Town, etc.

During this holiday, the city will organize fire and water spraying at Dragon Bridge for 5 consecutive nights from August 29 to September 2 to serve the people and tourists.

Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area offers entrance tickets of only 350,000 VND/child and 550,000 VND/adult (for Vietnamese tourists) from August 30 to September 30, 2025, and arranges a separate entrance for tourists wearing red flag shirts with yellow stars (from August 30 to September 2, 2025).
