On the evening of September 2, at Lam Vien Square, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province organized a special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2.
Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan emphasized that through the special art program, it aims to review the heroic traditions of the nation, create a joyful atmosphere, encourage and motivate cadres, party members and local people to continue to successfully implement the socio-economic development tasks in 2025 and resolutions of party congresses at all levels.
Lam Dong, with its strategic location, beautiful natural landscape, temperate climate, diverse cultural identity and friendly people, is becoming a leading destination for high-tech agriculture, green tourism, knowledge-based economy, innovation and is determined to build the province into a new growth pole of the region and the whole country; a livable land, contributing with the whole country to realize the aspiration of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.
Special art program, with the theme "Pride of My Fatherland" performed by Lam Dong Art Theater, General Director - Artistic Director is People's Artist Mai Kien.
The program has three parts, including August Song, Country Full of Joy, and Integration Melody; with more than 20 music, singing, and dancing performances.
The program features Meritorious Artist Ngoc Tuyen, along with singers and dancers from Lam Dong Art Theater.
In the rainy night of the mountain town, the audience was immersed in the heroic melodies and joyful atmosphere of songs such as Party Flag, August Nineteen, August Flag, Each Step We Take, We Love Our Fatherland More, Speedy Footsteps, Cannon Call, Dien Bien Liberation...
After the victory of the August Revolution, the whole country entered the resistance war against colonialism, creating the Dien Bien Phu victory that “resounded throughout the five continents, shook the earth” and the imperialist resistance war that created the great victory in the Spring of 1975, unifying the country. From then on, the country was united, resounding with the song “The Country is Full of Joy”. In this part, the audience enjoyed the Melody of Pride, Liberation of the South, Marching to Saigon, The Country is Full of Joy…
In the third part, there are cheerful songs like the thousand-year-old brocade of the country, like the color of the homeland, the peaceful land, including A lap of Vietnam, My homeland of love, Blue sea love story, Gong dance, Continuing the story of peace... And the song Lam Dong thousand flowers-blue sea-great forest closes the special art program, on the background of colorful fireworks shining brightly in the rain.
At the same time, in Lam Dong Blue Sea and Lam Dong Great Forest areas, an art program with the same theme took place.
The special art program with the theme "Pride of My Fatherland" is like lighting the fire of aspiration and determination to realize the vision of building Lam Dong to be united, convergent and shining, and to rise strongly in the new era.
