During the National Day holiday on September 2 this year, the number of tourists to Khanh Hoa only increased slightly. However, tourism businesses in the province organized many exciting cultural, entertainment and culinary activities, creating an impressive holiday for visitors from near and far.

During the National Day holiday, VinWonders Nha Trang continued to maintain its position as the "number 1 destination" with tens of thousands of visitors every day. According to Mr. Truong Si Hai Trinh - Deputy Head of Information and Communication Department, Institute of Oceanography, during the 4-day holiday, about 20,000 visitors came to the Oceanographic Museum to visit and learn about marine biodiversity and Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands.

High revenue growth

According to information from Cam Ranh International Airport, during the 4-day holiday, the airport had 566 flights taking off and landing (316 international flights and 250 domestic flights), an increase of about 30% over the same period in 2024. The total number of passengers that Cam Ranh International Airport received and picked up during this time was 106,432 passengers (an increase of about 35% over the same period last year). In addition to the number of passengers traveling by air and rail, the number of tourists traveling by road to Khanh Hoa is very large. Therefore, in the last days, the room occupancy rate of hotels in the province increased significantly.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the 4-day holiday (from August 30 to September 2), accommodation establishments in the province welcomed 275,000 guests, an increase of 10.35% over the same period in 2024, including more than 68,000 international visitors, an increase of 47.6%, and 207,117 domestic visitors, an increase of 1.9%. The average room occupancy rate of accommodation establishments is about 79.36%. Of which, hotels and resorts in Bai Dai, Doc Let, Binh Son - Ninh Chu, Vinh Hy areas have an occupancy rate of 80% or more. The central area of ​​Nha Trang ward and Phan Rang ward has an average room occupancy rate of 60% or more, and some hotels along Tran Phu beach have an occupancy rate of about 70%. It is estimated that total revenue from tourists is more than 963.5 billion VND, an increase of 27.4%.

The number of tourists increased by only 10.35% but tourism revenue increased by 27.4%, which is a sign that Khanh Hoa tourism is increasingly improving in quality.
