At Khanh Hoa General Hospital, during the 4-day holiday, the Emergency Department received more than 1,200 cases, an increase of about 20% compared to normal days. On August 30 alone, the number of hospitalizations increased the most, with 465 cases.

Hospitalizations were mainly due to domestic accidents, traffic accidents, digestive diseases, cardiovascular diseases, blood pressure in the elderly, and some common diseases in children. Of these, nearly 650 severe cases were transferred to inpatient treatment (including nearly 55 cases due to traffic accidents). To ensure emergency work, the hospital mobilized medical staff on duty 24/7 in all departments and rooms. Doctor Tran Thi Thanh Tram - Emergency Department, Khanh Hoa General Hospital said: "During the September 2nd holiday this year, the department has arranged human resources to ensure timely reception and treatment for patients; at the same time, proactively connecting with neighboring hospitals for the fastest and best emergency work".

During this year's holiday, the number of patients hospitalized due to traffic accidents at Khanh Hoa General Hospital increased by about 20% compared to normal days. Notably, on the evening of September 1, the hospital received 13 victims of a traffic accident at the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Toll Station (in Dong Be village, Dien Tho commune). According to initial information, after being hospitalized for emergency treatment, 1 patient was discharged, the remaining 12 people continued to be monitored and treated in departments and rooms at the hospital. Mr. La Van Sang - the victim of the accident who is being treated at the Department of Neurosurgery, shared: "With the dedicated care of the doctors and medical staff of the hospital, I now feel much better". Doctor Tran Van Dai Duong - Department of Neurosurgery, Khanh Hoa General Hospital said that 4 patients in the traffic accident at the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Toll Station were brought to the department for treatment. Fortunately, all patients suffered soft tissue injuries; Currently, the health of the patients is stable. During the 4-day holiday, the department received an average of 10 to 15 cases per day, of which traffic accidents accounted for about 2/3, with 5 serious cases requiring emergency surgery.

In other hospitals, many patients admitted due to traffic accidents have alcohol in them.

With a high sense of responsibility, medical facilities in the province have performed well in medical examination and treatment, contributing to health care for people and tourists during the National Day holiday on September 2.

According to a report from Ninh Thuan General Hospital, during the 4-day National Day holiday on September 2, the hospital received and treated more than 710 cases, of which more than 540 severe cases were transferred to the departments for inpatient treatment. Of the inpatient cases, 62 were due to traffic accidents. During the holidays, the hospital performed emergency surgery on 72 cases, of which 8 were due to traffic accidents.
