Dynamic metropolis Ho Chi Minh City through a photographic perspective

The photo exhibition Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love , organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, opened on the morning of August 28.

This activity aims to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, and at the same time marks a new development step of the photography movement in Ho Chi Minh City after the merger.

Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love, introduces 100 photos depicting the beauty of people, landscapes and changes of Ho Chi Minh City - a dynamic megacity of the country (including Binh Duong and the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau ).

Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association - said the exhibition includes 28 photos of the Binh Duong Photography Association, recording the natural beauty and people of Binh Duong province in the past.

The scenic spots and daily life of the people of Ba Ria - Vung Tau (now part of Ho Chi Minh City) are introduced through 32 photos by photographers of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Photography Association.

The remaining 40 photos were selected by the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association from the photo collection Ho Chi Minh City - 50 years of heroic pride, which the association previously took to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association emphasized that the exhibition Ho Chi Minh City - The City I Love is not only an opportunity for people to admire the beauty of the lands that share the same life rhythm with Ho Chi Minh City, but also contributes to spreading love for the homeland and arousing national pride.

Also on the morning of August 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association launched two new photography branches, including the Binh Duong Photography Branch (31 members, members of the Photography Sub-Association of the former Binh Duong Literature and Arts Association) and the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Photography Branch (32 members, members of the Photography Board of the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau Literature and Arts Association).

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association also admitted 7 new members.
