Highlights Jannik Sinner 3-1 Denis Shapovalov:
The match was a rematch of the 2021 Australian Open, where Shapovalov won. But this time, Sinner's position was completely different.

In set 1, Shapovalov started confidently, continuously holding his service games and had an early break in game 4. However, he could not maintain his advantage when he made a double fault, creating an opportunity for Sinner to tie the score. In the pivotal game, the Italian player lost his rhythm again, made a double fault and lost 5-7.
In set 2, the match was more balanced but Sinner took advantage of his opponent's mistake in game 7 to gain a break, before closing the set with a 6-4 victory.
The turning point came in set 3 when Sinner lost an early break but then exploded with impressive return ability, winning 6 consecutive games to close the set 6-3.

In set 4, Shapovalov was clearly out of shape, lost the break right at the beginning of the set and could not turn the situation around. Sinner took full advantage, won 6-3, thereby securing a 3-1 victory, earning a ticket to round 4 and continuing his journey to defend his championship.
The win over Shapovalov made Sinner the youngest player in history to win 20 Grand Slams, after Rafael Nadal, Boris Becker and Navak Djokovic.
