On the evening of September 1, the special national art program "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism took place at the National Stadium (Hanoi). General Secretary To Lam attended the program.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered the opening speech of the program.

The program consists of 3 chapters, lasting 180 minutes, and brings together nearly 3,000 professional and amateur artists.

This is not only an art space but also an emotional journey, taking the audience back in history to look back at the nation's 80-year journey in the cause of gaining independence, freedom, unification and building and protecting the country, opening up the aspiration for an integrated and prosperous Vietnam.

The art space is elaborately invested in and staged, bringing the audience back to the arduous but heroic years of the nation.

Songs such as: "Nguoi Ha Noi", "Song Lo", "Victory of Dien Bien" along with the scene of liberation of the South with the melody "The Country is Full of Joy" recreated historical milestones: Dien Bien Phu Victory 1954, Great Spring Victory 1975, unification of the country.

The art program combines music, dance, fine arts and modern technology, creating a multi-layered, creative artistic synthesis, with a 3D mapping system, multi-layered surround sound, super-sharp LED screens and artistic fireworks effects.

The highlight is the symphony "My Fatherland" resounding like a call to arms combining the symphony and folk orchestra with more than 1,000 dancers opening a grand choral picture of love for the homeland; immediately following is the content "Voluntary - Praising the Fatherland" continuing the emotional flow, evoking the spirit of dedication and the ideal of living for the Fatherland.

Nearly 3,000 professional and amateur artists at the program.

In particular, excerpts from President Ho Chi Minh's immortal Declaration of Independence echoed in the artistic space, bringing the audience back to the historic moment of September 2, 1945.
