International media assesses the historical significance of the 80th National Day Celebration

International media emphasized that the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day is not only a large-scale performance but also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its historical mark and current development path.

On September 2, international media simultaneously reported extensively on the celebration, parade, and march marking the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) in Hanoi . Many articles emphasized the scale, historical significance, and foreign policy message of the event.

Newspapers such as The Straits Times (Singapore), New Straits Times (Malaysia), The Laotian Times (Laos), Granma, the mouthpiece of the Communist Party of Cuba... to Reuters, AP, AFP, Al Jazeera... all emphasized that the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day is not only a large-scale performance, but also an opportunity for Vietnam to affirm its historical mark and current development path.

Articles from AFP and AP news agencies described the atmosphere of the event with thousands of people gathering on the streets to witness the largest military parade in decades, with the participation of a large force of soldiers and many modern weapons.
