Each melody in “What remains forever” is like a slice of history, a story about the beautiful country and an affirmation of a resilient, great and bright future Vietnam.

According to journalist Nguyen Van Ba, “What remains forever” 2025 bears a special mark: it is the first time it is carried out under the direction of the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions – a new ministry of the Government, aiming to realize the vision of the Party and State in caring for and strengthening the great solidarity bloc, preserving identity and promoting national strength.

"The national concert "What remains forever" 2025 will portray the image of Vietnam: a nation that lasts forever thanks to memories, a country that grows strong thanks to aspirations, a culture that shines thanks to the companionship of art, journalism and people's trust", the Editor-in-Chief of VietNamNet Newspaper emphasized.

This year's program continues to demonstrate the spirit of international integration with the participation of the Sun Symphony Orchestra and French conductor Olivier Ochanine, bringing a musical space that harmoniously combines vocal and instrumental music, classical and modern, tradition and innovation.

After the flag-raising ceremony with the Vietnamese National Anthem, the National Concert "What Remains Forever" 2025 opened up a lyrical and poignant artistic space with a performance of the Dan Bau piece Motherland (musician Tran Manh Hung) by Meritorious Artist Le Giang.

Not only bringing a new breath when arranging all the works of "What remains forever" 2025, musician Tran Manh Hung also arranged the vocal and instrumental pieces intentionally according to space and time, thereby creating a musical journey honoring the beauty of the lands that the liberation army passed through: Central Highlands, Binh Tri Thien, South Central Coast, South, Ho Chi Minh City...

Besides the appearance of veteran artists, this year's stage also has the participation of a number of young talents, demonstrating the continuity of generations, extending the love for the homeland and national pride.

In particular, the highlight of the instrumental music is the first appearance of pianist Luong Khanh Nhi - a young talent returning from the US with the work Song Lo (musician Van Cao); and the participation of Cellist Phan Do Phuc with the work "Towards Hanoi" (musician Hoang Duong).

Not only carefully studying the original, the young artists also researched different ways of expression to keep the original emotions while still creating a new breath for the classic works through the arrangements of musician Tran Manh Hung.

Meanwhile, the surprise in the vocal section was the return of singer Hong Nhung after many years of absence from the “Dieu con mai” stage. The “diva” brought her own version of Hanoi Song (music and lyrics: Vu Thanh) – expressing the pride of Hanoians on the great day of the whole country.

Besides, we cannot fail to mention the sublime and emotional performance of singer Tung Duong with two songs One Round of Vietnam (musician Dong Thien Duc) and Dak Krong River, Spring Comes (music and lyrics: To Hai).

Notably, this is the first year VietNamNet is under the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions. Therefore, the program also cleverly incorporates ethnic elements. In addition to the Dak Krong River in Spring performed by Tung Duong, the program also brings musical melodies with strong national colors such as: Hue folk songs and royal court music Luu Thuy, Kim Tien, Xuan Phong, Long Ho performed by Meritorious Artist Le Giang and the Net Viet group; Champa folk songs Pa Thei Mai performed by singer Dinh Trang and artist Hoang Ke...

The combination of symphonic chamber music and folk music brings an artistic space that is both luxurious and intimate, creating a unique blend of traditional music and modern symphonic spirit, creating a colorful artistic "feast" that meets the enjoyment needs of many audiences, while at the same time igniting love for the homeland and the aspiration to build an increasingly rich and powerful Vietnam.
