During the parade on the morning of September 2, along with the bustling military music and strong footsteps, there were resounding voices, conveying the heroic spirit of the great holiday.
Among the members who contributed their voices to the A80 ceremony was People's Artist Le Chuc - a "golden voice" exuding national pride and the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
Talking to a reporter from VietnamPlus Electronic Newspaper right after the ceremony ended, he was still emotional.
Voice 'resonant, rumbling, background, bouncy'
People's Artist Le Chuc was born in 1947 in Hai Phong , in a family with an artistic tradition. His father was poet and playwright Le Dai Thanh. His mother, although not a professional artist, had a passion for acting and was the first person to successfully portray the character of Vo Thi Sau on the Hai Phong drama stage in 1956.

Poet Le Dai Thanh, while in Hai Phong, founded the Co Phong Drama Group, where he was both director and author. His mother was an actress in the group at that time. Every night, they performed at the Hai Phong Opera House, and their children were exposed to the artistic atmosphere every day, so it gradually became ingrained in their blood.
Speaking of his family, People's Artist Le Chuc is proud to have his elder brother Le Dai Chau participating in writing plays, his elder brother Le Dai Chuong joining the Co Phong Drama Troupe, and his elder brother Le Dai Chuc being a famous painter. Notably, his elder sister is Meritorious Artist Le Mai, a familiar face to television audiences. Meritorious Artist Le Mai's three daughters (ie People's Artist Le Chuc's nieces) Le Van, Le Khanh, and Le Vi all have made many contributions to Vietnamese cinema.

In 1965, People's Artist Le Chuc became the main actor of the Hai Phong Drama Troupe. In 1987, he graduated from the University of Theatre and Cinema in Kiev, Soviet Union (now Ukraine). During his 15 years working at the Hai Phong Drama Troupe, he left many impressions on the audience through roles such as: Hoai "milk" in the play "Chieu Cuoi" by director Duong Ngoc Duc, the role of Aesop in the play "The Fox and the Grapes" ... After that, he moved to work at the Department of Performing Arts, Vietnam Opera House and the Vietnam Stage Artists Association.
He is also the director, screenwriter and narrator for many famous plays, puppets, dances and documentaries, such as: "Hoa Lu-Thang Long, the song of moving the capital", "Sudden destiny", "The fate of Kieu", "Vietnam in the Ho Chi Minh era - Television chronicle", "The spirit of Bach Dang river" ...
Inheriting his father’s passion and talent, People’s Artist Le Chuc has devoted much of his heart to literature and poetry. Up to now, he has published four books, namely the poetry collection “Every Day of the Sun,” the poetry and painting collection “Le Hoa,” the poetic drama “Le Chuc – Pages of Stage Life,” and the poetry collection “A Silent Void.”
Artist Le Chuc has held many important management positions in the country's theater industry such as Director of the Central Opera House (now the Vietnam Opera House), Deputy Director of the Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), and Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association.
After retiring from the Vietnam Stage Artists Association, People's Artist Le Chuc is now more proactive in collaborating with classes teaching performance techniques, directing, script writing, and MC (program host) classes.

He worked hard to learn and pass on his craft to find "successors" because he was worried about how many more years he had left to compose and contribute.
According to People's Artist Le Chuc, his reading voice today is inherited from both his father and mother. They were both intellectuals, fluent in French, so their Vietnamese pronunciation was very standard.
“My hometown is Thanh Hoa, I was born and raised in Hai Phong, where people still mix up 'n' and 'l'. However, my family all speak with a standard accent. When I read the commentary, I read with the original Hanoi accent, I read clearly and roundly, using the 'resonance, rumble, foundation, bounce' in my voice. Perhaps, God has given me a special voice to be able to read the commentary and be loved by many people,” People's Artist Le Chuc confided.
Keep 'karma-fate', spread emotions to the public
With a thick, warm voice, subtle and varied expressions, he has successfully performed many roles, read commentary for many documentaries and political art programs. The "golden voice" of artist Le Chuc also brought to the public many famous literary and political works: "Declaration of Independence," "Proclamation of Victory over the Wu," "Proclamation to the Soldiers," "Prison Diary," "Revolutionary Path" ...
On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the public had the opportunity to listen to his voice-over in many art programs, typically the concert "Fatherland in the Heart" on the evening of August 10, "Journey of 80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness" on the evening of September 1 and the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on the morning of September 2.

I still remember, in the concert “Fatherland in the Heart,” when 68 soldiers who participated in the parade at Red Square (Moscow, Russia) walked out, People's Artist Le Chuc read a speech about them.
Many audiences were "moved to the point of trembling" when they heard the resounding voice resounding in the sacred atmosphere of meaningful anniversaries.
After the event, many young people used short videos with this narration to share their patriotism on Facebook and TikTok. These clips received 10,000-50,000 likes on social media platforms.
People's Artist Le Chuc said that his students sent him many short clips with him reading the commentary. He was happy that his voice was loved by many audiences, especially young people.
“In the concert Fatherland in the Heart, I read two short passages. I also studied in Russia for 6 years, so when I read the commentary for the 68 soldiers who participated in the Parade in Red Square (Moscow, Russia), I read from my heart. I am almost 80 years old, I have been to the battlefield, so I read the commentary with the pride of a soldier,” the artist shared.

Today, the commentary of People's Artist Le Chuc echoed during the parade, creating a quiet atmosphere for everyone to look back to the past, respect and be grateful for the sacrifices for national peace.
He believes that written words always have the depth of the soul and the breadth of the author's emotions. The responsibility of those who express those words through sound is to touch the "soul" of the words, bringing the reading to the highest level of expression.
With a meticulous, serious and self-renewing working spirit, Le Chuc always creates a unique style that is difficult to confuse with others. According to him, to create that style, first of all, the artist must understand the value of language, the literary value hidden in the words, through that is the love for the Vietnamese language, the responsibility for the beauty of the Vietnamese language.
He is also a person who always keeps his professional rule, which is never to read product introduction advertisements, no matter how high the remuneration is. Because he thinks that he is a famous political speaker, and the public is familiar with his voice in major programs of the Party and State, so he cannot appear in advertising clips.
According to artist Le Chuc, reading commentary has 3 levels: Reading must be correct, have the art of voice and inspire the audience and readers.
“I am fortunate to be blessed with a voice that people call a ‘golden voice’, so for me, narration and commentary is my destiny. I personally receive the spirit of the words and then spread that sympathy to the public,” the artist expressed./.
