Speaking at the program, comrade Duong Anh Duc praised the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper and the Saigon Business Association - those who have fanned the flames of filial piety of businessmen, spreading it throughout the community. The contest is a journey that touches the most sacred things in everyone's heart.

Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Duong Anh Duc emphasized that cultivating family values - filial piety, humanity, loyalty, and responsibility - is not only a private matter for each family, but also a national policy, the foundation for the country to rise strongly in the new era.
Therefore, this contest is not only a communication activity, but has become a bridge connecting hearts, so that each of us realizes that: no matter how busy, no matter how successful, family is still the most peaceful support, the source of all success.

Editor-in-Chief of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper Ly Viet Trung emphasized that the award ceremony took place right in Vu Lan season - the season of filial piety, to remind each other of the eternal morality: When drinking water, remember the source, When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree.
The award ceremony is not only to honor outstanding works, but also a profound reminder for everyone, regardless of their position, to listen to their hearts and respect filial piety towards their family, community, and country.

According to Ms. Ly Viet Trung, each entry is a vivid film, recording the silent sacrifices of parents, the tears of longing of children far from home, or moments of reunion filled with happiness...
After the launch, the contest attracted hundreds of authors. The Jury selected 12 excellent articles to award prizes. Specifically, 1 Special Prize worth 20 million VND; 1 First Prize worth 15 million VND; 2 Second Prizes, each worth 10 million VND; 3 Third Prizes, each worth 5 million VND; 5 Consolation Prizes, each worth 3 million VND.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded the Most Favorite Article prize, worth 1 million VND, based on views, likes, and shares.
On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Newspaper and Saigon Entrepreneurs Association launched the second writing contest "Entrepreneurs with filial piety and family". The contest will start accepting entries from October 20, 2025 to April 30, 2026.
Each entry must be between 1,200 and 2,000 words long, typed in Vietnamese. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to adjust the number of awards to suit the actual competition and make the final decision on the winning entry.

Entries should be sent to the email address: doanhnhanvachuhieu@baophunu.org.vn. The final round and award ceremony of the second contest in Ho Chi Minh City is expected to take place on Vietnamese Family Day, June 28, 2026.
