On the afternoon of September 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Command held a meeting to honor 156 candidates admitted to military schools and academies in this year's enrollment period.
According to statistics from the City Command, 1,137 candidates in Ho Chi Minh City have been admitted to military academies and schools. Of these, 156 candidates were admitted, an increase of 3 candidates compared to 2024.

The city's Military Admissions Board has received 156 admission notices from schools. Of which, Army Officer School 2 ( Dong Nai ) has the highest number of candidates from Ho Chi Minh City admitted with 47 cases.
Other schools also have a high number of successful candidates such as the Engineering Officer School, Military Technical Academy, Naval Academy...
The two candidates with the highest admission scores (30 points) are Phan Minh Duc (residing in Cho Quan ward), admitted to the Military Technical Academy, and Nguyen Quoc Thai (residing in Thu Dau Mot ward), admitted to the Engineering Officer School.

In addition to the above two cases, many candidates in Ho Chi Minh City also achieved admission scores from 26 to 29 points, showing the high quality of future military officers.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, assessed the results achieved by the candidates as an honor for himself, and also a gift to repay the gratitude of parents and teachers.

Colonel Nguyen Dinh Chuan said that military students have to be far from home, facing many difficulties and hardships. He hopes that the successful candidates will quickly adapt to the new environment, while promoting the image of the civilized, modern, and friendly people of Ho Chi Minh City.
