Including: in Ta Nang commune, the flood damaged 6 irrigation pumps due to flooding and 9.5 hectares of crops; Ham Thuan Bac commune had 203 hectares of crops partially flooded; Binh Thuan ward had about 15 hectares of rice in the seedling and tillering stages and 3 hectares of various crops flooded in Xuan Dien quarter; Ham Liem commune had 192 hectares of rice, vegetables and dragon fruit flooded.

In Ham Thanh commune alone, heavy rains that lasted last night led to flash floods along the Linh River and flooding along the stream, damaging 30 hectares of crops and trees of local people. The damage was mainly in My Thanh 1, My Thanh 2, Dan Cuong, Ham Can 1, and Ham Can 2 villages. At Bom Bi overflow culvert, many tree branches and roots were swept away by the water and stuck in the overflow culvert, blocking the flow; large tree branches blocked the roadway, obstructing traffic... The total initial damage value of Ham Thanh commune is estimated at about 351 million VND.

On September 6, the People's Committees of the affected communes and wards directed the Commune Civil Defense Command and the Village Executive Boards to proactively implement "4 on-site" measures to quickly overcome the consequences of natural disasters in the area, and organize local militia forces to clean up and clear the flow to minimize local flooding.

At the same time, organize a review and statistics of damage to promptly support or propose damage support for people. Thereby, helping people quickly stabilize their lives and implement measures to ensure safety during the flood season.


According to the reporter, on the afternoon of September 6, due to heavy rain, the water rose, causing flooding in the underpass and the residential road along the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway, passing through Ham Thuan commune. As a result, the residential road was cut off on both sides, affecting people's travel.
Also on September 6, the Lam Dong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station reported floods on the Cam Ly River. It is forecasted that in the coming hours, the floods on the Cam Ly River will continue to rise rapidly and peak. At the same time, it warns of the risk of flooding and the possibility of other types of natural disasters. Including the risk of landslides on steep hillsides, embankments, flooding in low-lying areas along streams upstream of the Cam Ly River in the communes and wards of Xuan Huong Da Lat, Lam Vien Da Lat, Cam Ly Da Lat, Langbiang Da Lat; Nam Ban Lam Ha, Dinh Van Lam Ha. It is warned that the impact of floods on the Cam Ly River can have a very negative impact on the environment, threaten people's lives, and cause damage to infrastructure, roads, bridges, houses, and bury and erode production land. Therefore, localities and people need to closely monitor the developments of floods.
