Careful preparation for the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front Delegates of Lam Dong Province

On the afternoon of September 8, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province held a conference to contribute comments on the Draft Political Report; Personnel plan and allocation of delegates to attend the 1st Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Pham Trieu delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Pham Trieu emphasized that in recent times, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has closely directed the preparation work for the Congress at all levels. At the same time, it has issued propaganda plans, organized and launched emulation campaigns to achieve achievements to welcome the Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee and the Congress of Lam Dong Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2025-2030 term.

In particular, the Fatherland Front of Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat was chosen to organize a model congress at the commune level, successfully organized at the end of August 2025 and broadcast live to 123 points throughout the province.

After the model congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to review experiences; established 12 working groups to directly attend and direct the congress in communes, wards, and special zones and strive to complete it in September 2025.

Regarding the Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on August 13, 2025, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued a Plan to organize the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030. At the same time, established sub-committees: Propaganda, content, personnel and logistics.

The subcommittees have developed the Draft Political Report, the Draft Delegate Allocation Project and the Draft Personnel Project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term I.

The draft Political Report closely follows the guidelines of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, referring to the Political Report for the 2024 - 2029 term. After receiving comments for the first time, the Content Subcommittee edited, completed and continued to ask for comments from members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

With a high sense of responsibility, at the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing many opinions to 3 important documents. These are: Political report to the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030; Draft personnel plan of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, term 1, term 2025 - 2030; allocation of delegates to attend the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong province, term 2025 - 2030.

The comments focused on the theme and title of the Political Report; supplementing and perfecting the goals, targets and main solutions for the next term.

Many opinions emphasized the need to further strengthen the role of supervision and social criticism of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; enhance digital transformation activities; strengthen people's trust; pay attention to people's foreign affairs to better implement social security activities...

The draft Political Report was carefully studied by delegates, contributing many enthusiastic opinions.

Regarding the personnel plan and allocation of delegates to the Congress, the Conference reached a high consensus on the principle of selecting delegates to ensure standards and reasonable structure, demonstrating representativeness and representation of social classes.

Concluding the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province acknowledged and fully accepted the opinions of the delegates to supplement and complete the Draft Political Report, Personnel Plan and related contents. This will be an important basis for thorough and comprehensive preparation for the 1st Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Dong Province, scheduled to be held at the end of November 2025.
