A80 Festival: More than 1,300 cases of health problems received timely medical support

During the shift from 10pm on September 1 to noon on September 2, there were 1,315 cases of health problems requiring medical care, 113 serious cases were transferred to hospitals.

On the afternoon of September 2, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management ( Ministry of Health ) informed about emergency and medical examination and treatment work during the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health ) said that 211 medical teams with 1,097 medical staff and 134 ambulances were mobilized to serve the A80 Grand Ceremony to ensure first aid, emergency care, and medical examination and treatment for people participating in the parade.

Hundreds of doctors and nurses from the Ministry of Health, Hanoi Department of Health, Military Medical Department (Ministry of National Defense) and Health Department ( Ministry of Public Security ) have been mobilized, ready to respond on-site and coordinate patients to end-line hospitals.

During the shift from 10pm on September 1 to noon on September 2, there were 1,315 cases of health problems requiring medical care, 113 serious cases were transferred to hospitals.

The Hanoi Department of Health received and treated 664 cases, of which 75 severe cases were transferred to other hospitals for further treatment. The military medical force treated 301 cases, of which 27 were severe and had to be transferred to other hospitals. The police medical unit received 317 cases, of which 10 were severe and had to be transferred to other hospitals. Bach Mai Hospital received 7 cases. Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received 26 cases, of which 1 was severe.

End-line hospitals such as Bach Mai Hospital, Viet Duc Hospital, Hanoi Heart Hospital, and Xanh Pon General Hospital promptly received, treated, and monitored the health of officers, soldiers, and people participating in the event.

Thanks to close coordination between many forces, all cases received timely medical care, ensuring safety.

"Up to this point, the health sector has basically completed its assigned tasks well, ensuring thoughtful medical work and medical care for the working force and people participating in the ceremony," emphasized Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management./.
