On the evening of September 2, Hanoi simultaneously organized many special art programs and fireworks displays at 5 locations: Hoan Kiem Lake, Lac Long Quan Flower Garden (Tay Ho Ward), My Dinh Stadium, Thong Nhat Park and Van Quan Lake, creating a brilliant festival space, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Art program "Forever the triumphant song" at Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong) organized by Hanoi Drama Theater in collaboration with Ha Dong Ward Culture - Information and Sports Center attracted a large number of people to enjoy the performances and wait for the fireworks display.
The program combines singing, dancing, music and drama to depict the heroic feats and aspirations for national independence and prosperity.
At the My Dinh National Sports Complex, the art program “Under the Golden Star” co-organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the Thang Long Music and Dance Theater carries the message of arousing patriotism, national pride and connecting the glorious past with today's young generation.
The program combines drama, singing... with many songs about heroic soldiers such as Vo Thi Sau, Dang Thuy Tram performed by singers, excellent artists and the dance group of Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, bringing deep emotions and conveying meaningful historical messages to the audience.
The special art program “Immortal Epic” at the outdoor stage of Lac Long Quan Flower Garden in Tay Ho ward with a large space, convenient for a large audience in the capital to watch the performances and fireworks.
The program is hosted by Hanoi Cheo Theater, in coordination with departments, branches and Tay Ho Ward People's Committee. The highlight of the program is the traditional Cheo art harmoniously combined with modern music and dance, depicting the spirit of indomitable struggle and the aspiration for independence and freedom of the nation.

At Hoan Kiem Lake area, the art program "80 years - Pride of Vietnam" with the participation of many famous artists, professional art units and hundreds of extras.
From early evening, the atmosphere around Hoan Kiem Lake was extremely vibrant, with more and more people flocking to enjoy the unique art performances and wait to see the beautiful fireworks display.
The stage was bright, the audience was in tune with the music, clapping and smiling with excitement. The performances of music, dance, animation, contemporary dance, and documentary projection combined with modern sound and light technology brought the audience a range of emotions from calm to pride.
Immediately after the programs ended, Hanoi simultaneously organized high-altitude fireworks displays at 5 locations for 15 minutes, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. When the fireworks lit up the sky, the sea of people seemed to explode, the cheers of adults and children stirred up the space.
Amidst the brilliant sky of the Capital, joy, pride and community cohesion seemed to multiply, making the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2 even more complete and unforgettable.
During the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, art performances were also brought to serve the people in communes far from the city center such as Thach That, Phu Xuyen, Me Linh, Ba Vi, My Duc, Dan Phuong, Ung Hoa./.
