Phuong Hoang Temple Festival, also known as Cuc Hoa Temple Festival, is a long-standing traditional festival of the people of Phu Oanh village, Tien Tien commune, Hung Yen province. The festival is held from the 1st to the 5th of the 3rd lunar month every year to commemorate the merits of Mrs. Cuc Hoa - the wife of "Two-country champion" Tong Tran.
This is considered one of the major festivals in the province, attracting a large number of people and tourists from all over the country to attend. Currently, the festival still preserves many traditional rituals such as: incense offering ceremony, palanquin procession and unique folk games...
According to the decision, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism assigns the Chairmen of People's Committees at all levels where cultural heritages are included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages, within the scope of their tasks and powers, to carry out state management of intangible cultural heritages in accordance with the provisions of the law on cultural heritage.
Thus, up to now, Hung Yen province has 29 national intangible cultural heritages.
