According to research, customers buying the standard Kia Sorento Luxury version are enjoying a genuine discount of 55 million VND, the car price is only 899 million VND. However, some dealers continue to offer an additional discount of 20 million VND, bringing the actual selling price down to 879 million VND. This is the lowest price recorded in 2025 for the regular gasoline Sorento version.
The Premium version also receives a discount of up to 80 million VND, the actual selling price of the car is only about 999 million VND.
Notably, all Sorento models currently on sale have VIN 2025. However, the seller said that there are not many cars left, the remaining Sorento versions only have Luxury, Premium and HEV hybrid versions.
The price cut comes amid a glut of older models in the market and the rumored launch of a facelifted Sorento. Earlier in March, some dealers began taking deposits for the facelifted Kia Sorento, even though the car has yet to be launched.

The first is the Smartstream 2.5 MPI gasoline engine with 4 cylinders, 2.5L capacity, producing a maximum capacity of 177 horsepower and a maximum torque of 232 Nm as before. This engine is combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The second is the Smartstream D2.2 diesel engine with 4 cylinders, 2.2L capacity, producing a maximum capacity of 198 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. The engine goes with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Third is the new hybrid powertrain with a combination of a 1.6L turbocharged gasoline engine and an electric motor for a total output of 245 horsepower and a maximum torque of 366 Nm. Not only is this powertrain more powerful, it is also more fuel-efficient with an average consumption of 15.7 km/liter (about 6.36 liters/100 km).
Finally, there is the plug-in hybrid powertrain with the same combination of 1.6L gasoline engine and 6-speed automatic transmission as above. However, the engine is combined with a powerful electric motor of 90 horsepower and 304 Nm.
