In the heart of Hoi An ancient town, Quang Nam province, at the end of the year, the Tet market still retains the beauty of the busiest market with stalls selling flowers, Tet cakes, worship items, vegetables and fruits.

The freshest products from the countryside and surrounding areas of Hoi An are poured into the market, serving people shopping for Tet. The Tet market is bustling with buyers and sellers, everyone is happy and welcoming.

In addition to the residents of Hoi An ancient town, many foreign tourists also enthusiastically joined the crowd to shop and take photos to capture the typical moments of the Vietnamese Tet market.

Ms. Susan (57 years old, Australian tourist) shared: "Visiting Vietnam, especially Hoi An ancient town during the Lunar New Year, is a wonderful and lucky experience for me. The Tet market is so bustling, everyone is in a hurry and I see a lot of goods coming here."

According to many traders, the number of customers on the 30th of Tet is more crowded than previous days, prices have increased compared to normal days but not significantly.

The Tet market is also special with the faint scent of incense sticks, incense sticks... being burned, lingering in the air (Photo: Ngo Linh).

The most special thing about the market on the 30th of Tet is the atmosphere. The faces are cheerful and excited, the buying and selling scenes are very fast and very happy. The laughter, asking about prices, inviting each other to come to visit during Tet can be heard everywhere. What is special is that many people go to the market just to enjoy the Tet atmosphere, not necessarily to buy anything.

The Tet market gets crowded very quickly and ends very quickly. The market is closed at 10am and by 12pm the market is deserted. After preparing the year-end offerings and welcoming the ancestors back, if you forget something, then it's too bad, the last market of the year has closed.

People and tourists have to wait another 365 days to have the chance to enjoy the most special market of the year, the morning market on the 30th of Tet.
