Successfully completed military and defense tasks in the first 6 months of the year

The targets and tasks of the first 6 months of the year were achieved and exceeded by the provincial military. 17 training courses were organized to update national defense and security knowledge for nearly 1,300 subjects; 1,016 sessions of propaganda and dissemination of national defense and security knowledge were conducted on mass media, reaching 45,720 listeners.

The entire unit disseminated current information, studied, provided political education, disseminated laws and propagated the celebration of major holidays as planned, with an average of 99.8% of the troops; promptly encouraged and rewarded 130 collectives and 339 individuals who achieved achievements in emulation campaigns; proposed to award 236 orders, medals and commemorative medals of various types. Each officer and soldier promoted the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new era".

Along with that, well coordinated the implementation of the provincial local armed forces movement "Joining hands to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas"; the campaign "Joining hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"; mass mobilization work, grassroots democracy regulations, policies for soldiers, families of soldiers on active duty and policies for the army's rear; supported the construction of 14 houses of Comradeship, Comradeship, Great Solidarity (nearly 900 million VND); mobilized the Gratitude Fund for more than 300 million VND.

Administrative reform and digital transformation in the local military of the province are regularly focused on and seriously directed; establishing the Steering Committee of the Provincial Military Command on science and technology development, innovation, digital transformation, implementing Project 06/CP and administrative reform; receiving and sending documents in the electronic environment reached 82.1%, digital signatures of organizations reached 96.4%, digital signatures of individuals reached 43.1%. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung shared that the dissolution of the district-level military command and the merger of the province have somewhat affected the thoughts and feelings of officers and soldiers and the results of the implementation of tasks in the last 6 months of the year. Therefore, to complete the military and defense tasks of 2025, the Party Committee and the Provincial Military Command are required to review and propose solutions for the new An Giang province. The newly established unit must quickly stabilize its organization and staffing, come into operation immediately, promptly build a system of operational documents and organize approval.
