The Vietnamese Family Shelter program has become a place to connect, share and spread love to hundreds of unfortunate children who were orphaned at an early age, lacking the embrace of their parents. Each story told makes the listeners choke up: some children recall the times their father took them to school, some still remember the moment their mother combed their hair every morning. But there are also children who have never felt the warmth of family love, because their parents passed away when they were born, or one of them has disappeared without a trace. For them, even seemingly simple things like gathering around the dinner table with their parents every day or special days like Vietnamese Family Day on June 28 have become luxuries.
Each story of the characters in Vietnamese Family Home is told, each time it brings many tears to everyone. It is also the special stories in the program that make us understand more clearly the value of a true family home. For orphans, family affection is something that is difficult for anyone to compensate. However, with the mission of "sharing happiness with the community", the Vietnamese Family Home program will always strive to share and accompany the children to overcome difficulties. The hope of those who implement the program is to be able to give more motivation for the children to have meaningful Vietnamese Family Days in the future.
Continuing its meaningful journey, for 3 days (from July 4-6, 2025), Vietnamese Family Home will be present at Dragon Bridge East Bank Park, Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Ward, Da Nang City to record 6 episodes, helping 18 disadvantaged families in the Central provinces.
Leading the program Vietnamese Family Home in Da Nang this time are MC Dai Nghia, MC Duong Hong Phuc, MC Huynh Lap and MC Lieu Ha Trinh . With the participation of guest artists: singer Hoang Hai, singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh, actor Huynh Lap, beauty queen Ngoc Chau, runner-up Mai Ngo, soccer player Phan Van Duc, soccer player Tien Linh, actor Ma Ran Do, actor Quoc Anh, runner-up Lona Kieu Loan , rapper BigDaddy, singer Emily.
Sharing about becoming one of the program's hosts in Da Nang City, MC Lieu Ha Trinh said she was very surprised when she received the invitation from the program. The female MC had once missed the appointment as a guest artist, so she thought that this time she would only be invited to support in the challenges, contributing to bringing moments of joy, relaxation and sharing with the characters in difficult situations.
Lieu Ha Trinh believes that Vietnamese Family Home is an entertainment program and also an emotional journey to connect the less fortunate with the loving companionship of the community. Therefore, no matter what role she appears in, the female MC feels happy and tries to arrange time to come and record.
“Trinh believes that this is an opportunity for her to lead a meaningful program and to listen, share, learn and give hope to those who need a helping hand,” Lieu Ha Trinh shared.
As a familiar face when hosting many programs and events, when accepting to host Vietnamese Family Home, Lieu Ha Trinh admitted that she felt a lot of pressure. She said: “Becoming the MC of Vietnamese Family Home means taking on the role of a 'bridge', connecting emotions between the characters and the audience, which Trinh thinks is more difficult than appearing as a guest artist. Pressure is certain, especially when Trinh recognizes the charm, sophistication and sincerity of her seniors in the role of hosting the program. But for herself, it is a positive pressure, because Trinh believes that the audience does not only watch the program for entertainment, but also to feel, to accompany and to give.”
In addition, player Tien Linh, who first came to the Vietnamese Family Home as a guest, is very familiar with the Vietnamese Family Home because he often supports and helps the children in the program. The male player has sent money to support the children many times after the broadcast episodes. After many missed appointments due to his busy training schedule, Tien Linh said he felt honored and happy to participate in the filming in Da Nang. The male player shared that he always believes that " sports is constant effort" and he also sees the constant efforts of the children and families in the Vietnamese Family Home. Therefore, he hopes that his appearance in the program will contribute to supporting those in difficult situations as well as spreading positive values to the community.
The program Vietnamese Family Warmth is broadcast at 20:20 every Friday on HTV7 channel.
