The army was mobilized to help the Organizing Committee clean up the stage to avoid storms.
On the evening of June 12, the Organizing Committee decided to adjust the time to organize the Miss Vietnam finals to June 27 instead of June 14 as before.
This year’s contest lasted 6 months, going through many rounds of selection from hundreds of candidates across the country. The 25 best faces were chosen to compete in the final round with the theme of honoring “Beauty-Culture-Intelligence-Dedication” of Vietnamese women.
The stage was designed like a pearl in the middle of the Perfume River, inspired by the cultural heritage of the ancient capital of Hue . Hundreds of tons of equipment and a 6,000-seat grandstand were mobilized and installed by a team of professional technicians.
The Organizing Committee affirmed that the postponement is to ensure the safety and quality of the competition night, and is committed to maintaining the rights of audiences who have purchased tickets and refunding in cases of force majeure.
