Support households to move out of areas at risk of landslides

During 2 days (July 1 and 2), the police of Muong Chien and Chieng Mai communes mobilized officers, soldiers and local security forces to support households to leave areas at risk of landslides.

Muong Chien Commune Police and local people supported households in dismantling houses and moving property to a safe place.

Due to the heavy rain that has lasted for the past few days in Muong Chien commune, some locations are at risk of landslides, affecting the safety of Mr. La Van Toan's household in Bon village.

In Chieng Mai commune, heavy rain caused a landslide that damaged the house of Mr. Lo Van Thien, Vuong Me village and 4 other houses in the village were also affected and needed to be moved urgently.

Chieng Mai Commune Police, Fire Prevention and Rescue Force and local people supported households to move to safety.

After receiving the information, the police of the communes mobilized dozens of officers, soldiers and local security forces to support households in moving their assets to a safe place and setting up temporary shelters, ensuring stability for the families.
