On June 13, the City Women's Union summarized the work of the union and women's movement in the first 6 months of 2025; summarized the project "Supporting women to start a business" for the period 2017-2025. Since the beginning of the year, the union at all levels has supported the construction and repair of houses for 20 poor and single women's households, with a total cost of 870 million VND; mobilized philanthropists and benefactors to sponsor 939 orphans in especially difficult circumstances; visited and gave gifts to more than 900 orphans, with a total cost of nearly 1.5 billion VND; donated 100 means of livelihood to support women in difficulty.
Implementing the project "Supporting women to start a business", all levels of the association have promoted propaganda, coordinated with functional sectors to train and transfer science, technology and skills to women to start a business. Up to now, 1,143 women have been supported to start a business and start a business; supported the establishment of 18 cooperatives and cooperatives managed by women. On this occasion, the City People's Committee and the City Women's Union honored 10 collectives and 10 individuals with achievements in implementing the project "Supporting women to start a business" in the period of 2017-2025.
