Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of HDBank and representatives of large enterprises received the Top 5 ACGS Scorecard Certificate from the leaders of the State Securities Commission.

On June 6, 2025, the State Securities Commission (SSC) and the Vietnam Institute of Directors (VIOD) held a ceremony to announce the Top 5 leading Vietnamese enterprises achieving the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) in 2024 - a set of indicators to evaluate the governance of listed enterprises and public companies with the highest reputation in the region. The Top 5 achieving the highest ACGS score of this assessment period include: FPT , Vinamilk, HDBank, VPBank and PVCFC - Ca Mau Fertilizer.

VIOD said that the above 5 brands were nominated to represent the Vietnamese business community to attend the ASEAN-wide award ceremony, scheduled to be held in Malaysia next July.

The ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) is a set of corporate governance standards developed to improve the governance quality of listed companies in the ASEAN region. This scorecard directly reflects ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), shareholder equity and disclosure standards, helping to build trust with global investors. In Vietnam, the implementation and technical scoring of the ACGS Scorecard is undertaken by SSC and VIOD.

Along with the Top 5 ACGS Scorecard results, HDBank is also included in the VNCG50 List in 2025 - a Corporate Governance Scorecard developed by VIOD, aiming to promote a good governance system based on the principles of transparency, fairness and sustainability, in line with the reality of the Vietnamese market.

According to VIOD representative, this result clearly reflects HDBank's distinct vision in building a standardized, modern and future-oriented governance model. HDBank's Board of Directors is also highly appreciated for its harmonious combination of extensive experience and innovative thinking, with a team of highly specialized professionals in the domestic and international finance and banking sector. In particular, HDBank is the first commercial bank in Vietnam to establish an ESG Committee under the Board of Directors. According to VIOD, not many public companies and listed enterprises in Vietnam have been able to do this. In addition, HDBank is also a pioneer bank in issuing a separate report on Sustainable Development in 2024 and 2025.

Along with improving governance standards with a Top 5 position in the ACGS Scorecard, HDBank continues to affirm its strong financial capacity. At the end of May, credit rating agency Moody's upgraded HDBank's credit rating to Ba3 - the highest rating in the private banking sector in Vietnam.
