According to a survey by reporters from Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television in the western part of the city, prices of many types of construction materials have decreased compared to early June.

specific, Thanh Nhan bricks ( Bac Ninh ) are at 1,500 - 1,600 VND/piece (down 500 - 600 VND/piece), construction sand is 490,000 - 500,000 VND/ ^m3 (down 40,000 - 50,000 VND/ ^m3 ), yellow sand for ceiling pouring is 750,000 VND/ ^m3 (down 100,000 VND/ ^m3 ), blue stone is 550,000 VND/ ^m3 (down 50,000 VND/ ^m3 ). Hoa Phat Steel, Thai Nguyen is at 14,800 VND/kg (down 300 - 500 VND/kg). These prices have decreased by 3 - 28% compared to the beginning of June.

Previously, the Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to focus on ensuring the supply of construction materials, strengthening inspection, supervision, monitoring, urging and closely following developments in the construction market. Along with that, this time has also passed the peak of the construction season so the demand for construction materials is no longer as high as before.
