In the North
On the morning of June 9, the live hog market in the North recorded a slight decrease in some localities. Specifically, the two provinces of Hung Yen and Tuyen Quang both decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 69,000 VND/kg.
Prices in the remaining localities in the region are still stable. Thus, traders in the North are buying live pigs.
In the Central Highlands region , the price of live pigs continued to remain stable in most localities, except for the two provinces of Dak Lak and Binh Thuan , which decreased slightly by VND 1,000/kg, to VND 72,000 and VND 73,000/kg, respectively.
Currently, live pigs in the Central Highlands are bought and sold at a price difference of about 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
The Southern market witnessed a decrease in live pig prices in many localities this morning. In particular, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc , Tay Ninh, An Giang, Hau Giang and Tien Giang all adjusted down 1,000 VND/kg, trading at 73,000 VND/kg.
Also recording a price drop, live pigs in Long An dropped to 74,000 VND/kg. Thus, the price of 75,000 VND/kg has disappeared from the market. Currently, the price of live pigs today in the South fluctuates between 72,000 - 74,000 VND/kg.
