Pig price today
Pig prices in the Northern region continued to stagnate after many stable sessions. The price level fluctuated between 68,000 VND/kg and 70,000 VND/kg.
According to records, Hung Yen and Tuyen Quang continue to be the two leading localities in the North in terms of price, with the highest purchase price reaching 70,000 VND/kg. This is an attractive price for farmers in the midlands and the Northern Delta, where there is a tradition of raising pigs on a family scale combined with farms.
The group of provinces with common prices of 69,000 VND/kg includes Bac Giang , Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc and Hanoi. In the group with lower prices, localities such as Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh currently record prices of 68,000 VND/kg.
Pig prices in the Central Highlands and Central Vietnam are also showing a steady trend, fluctuating between VND68,000/kg and VND74,000/kg. The market in this region continues to reflect a balanced supply-demand situation when there are no factors disrupting the supply.
Binh Thuan continues to be the locality with the highest price in the region, currently reaching 74,000 VND/kg. Pork prices in Binh Thuan are stable thanks to tightly controlled supply, while domestic consumption and demand from southern provinces are still quite good.
Following are Lam Dong and Dak Lak, the two localities with the next highest prices, currently trading around 73,000 VND/kg. The group of provinces with prices of 69,000 VND/kg includes Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Khanh Hoa.
In the lower price group, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri are currently trading at 68,000 VND/kg. Binh Dinh remains at 70,000 VND/kg, while Ninh Thuan records a price of 72,000 VND/kg.
The price of live pigs in the South continues to be the region with the highest price level in the country. Prices range from 72,000 VND/kg to 75,000 VND/kg, reflecting the stability of supply and demand and very good domestic consumption.
Tay Ninh and Long An continue to lead the region with the highest price of 75,000 VND/kg. The group of provinces with common prices of 74,000 VND/kg include Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Thap, An Giang and Ba Ria - Vung Tau. Localities such as Vinh Long and Can Tho are currently trading at 73,000 VND/kg, while Ben Tre continues to maintain the price of 72,000 VND/kg.
Pork price today
The price of Meat Deli chilled pork from winmart.vn remains stable. Currently, the products are traded in the range of 119,922 - 163,122 VND/kg and are discounted 20% according to the preferential program for WinMart members.
Of which, grade 1 ground pork is being sold at 119,922 VND/kg, the lowest price among the products surveyed at WinMart. Next are lean pork thigh, lean pork shoulder and boneless ham, respectively at 122,320 VND/kg, 126,320 VND/kg and 127,922 VND/kg.
According to a survey, pork prices at Ha Hien Fresh Food Company continued to be stable this morning. Currently, pork products are sold at prices ranging from 85,000 - 181,000 VND/kg.
Accordingly, the price of pork fat is currently 85,000 VND/kg, the lowest among the surveyed products. Next are two products, lean pork leg and old pork ribs, with prices of 125,000 VND/kg and 128,000 VND/kg, respectively.
