March 2026 futures remained unchanged at 276.55 cents/lb.

On the London exchange, Robusta coffee prices last week saw a sharp decline after a period of continuous increase. The September 2025 futures contract opened the week at $3,677/ton (July 8) but ended the week at only $3,320/ton (July 12), down a total of $357/ton – the deepest decline since January 2025.
In contrast, Arabica coffee prices on the New York floor recovered slightly due to technical buying and concerns about supply in the Central American region. The September Arabica contract increased by 7.2 cents/lb, from 280.60 to 287.80 cents/lb during the week.
However, the rise in arabica was not enough to revive the overall market as pessimism remained dominant due to the latest supply-demand report from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) showing that global supply is exceeding demand.
According to the USDA’s July report, global coffee production in 2024–25 is expected to reach 174.4 million bags, up nearly 3% from the previous crop. Brazil is estimated to reach around 65 million bags, while Vietnam is forecast to increase sharply to 31 million bags, up nearly 7%.
Meanwhile, global consumption demand is only about 169 million bags, leading to a surplus of more than 5 million bags, creating downward pressure on the coffee market.
